Due to inclement weather from Hurricane Lane, this program has been cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience and encourage everyone to be safe.
The Alzheimer’s Association will conduct an informational program called “Healthy Living for Brain and Body: Tips from the Latest Research.“
At any age, there are lifestyle habits we can adopt to help maintain or even potentially improve our health. These habits may also help to keep our brains healthy as we age and possibly delay the onset of cognitive decline.
This workshop covers four areas of lifestyle habits that are associated with healthy aging: cognitive activity, physical health & exercise, diet & nutrition, and social engagement. In each area, we will discuss what we know, as well as what we can do – steps to take now to improve or maintain overall health in each area. Caregivers are welcome to attend!
Seating is limited. RSVP required. Call the library at 453-6566 to register.
All programs are subject to change. If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before a program date.
