Wahiawa Public Library and Trinity Lutheran Church & School Presents: Earth Sciences Kid’s Program on Volcanoes!

Ever wonder how volcanoes work? Why do volcanoes exist? What is lava? where does it come from? Volcanoes form the ground we walk on and are a very important part of our earth’s geographic legacy. Join Trinity Lutheran science teachers and National Junior Honor Society middle school students as they teach and demonstrate how volcanoes form. Demonstration will include a story, a volcanic eruption activity, and a game or coloring activity.

Recommended for children age 5+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Program is subject to change. Contact the library 7 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
