Peace Corps Training on the Big Island

Hilo Public Library presents a free showing of a locally made documentary co-produced by Big Island residents Bill Sakovich and Jim Carr. Beginning in 1962, the film documents Peace Corps training scenes from selected training sites in Hilo preparing volunteers to serve in the Pacific Islands and Asia.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
