How do diet and medications affect dental health in adults?  Lisa Whang Shirai, DDS will be answering these and other important dental questions at the library.  Following her presentation, audience members will have an opportunity to ask follow up questions relating to dental health for adults.  This free 30-minute program will held in the library’s meeting room (ground floor).

Dr. Lisa Whang Shirai is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Physiology.  She attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).  She did a two year General Practice Residency at Truman Medical Center-Lakewood in Missouri and received a residency certificate.
