Children’s Book and Movie: Where the Wild Things Are

August 5, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

two window, left side: Book cover: A wild creature with horns sitting peacefully in a forest near water, right side movie poster: a tall wild creature with arms around a crying kid's shoulder

Join us on Monday afternoons to listen to the story as it is read, followed by the movie that it inspired.  Come to enjoy a read from the book and a showing of the movie, or to compare and contrast your favorite childhood stories.

This afternoon, we will be reading and watching Where the Wild Things Are from the original book of the same title written by Maurice Sendak.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date.  We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations.  All programs are subject to change.  For a list of upcoming library events, visit test-library.ehawaii.gov/events
