Chess Tournament for kids 18 and under Saturday, November 2 @ 9am – 2pm Kahului Library in the adult reading area along patio windows.  Tournament could go longer depending on number of participants.  General rules is touch move (if you touch a piece, you have to move it), 10 minute clock (each player has 10 minute to make moves), win by checkmate or if opponent runs out of time.  Board and Clocks will be provided.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 players:  2nd place is a travel magnet chess set, 1st place will be a chess clock.

Please call the Kahului Public Library (808)873-3097 to register, we will be taking a maximum of 16 participants, so call early and reserve your spot today!
