Mr. Sung Chan Chang, the Associate Principal Cellist of Hawaii Symphony Orchestra, will perform Bach’s Cello Suites No. 1 (Prelude, Allemande, Courante, Sarabande, Menuett I, Menuett II, and Gigue) and No. 6 (Prelude, Allemande, Courante, Sarabande, Gavotte I, Gavotte II and Gigue.) Mr. Chang graduated from the Korean National University of Arts with the Bachelor of Music degree in 2008, the Juilliard School with the Master of Music degree in 2010, and Yale University with the Artist Diploma degree in 2012, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Northwestern University.
This one-hour program will be held in the Library’s front lobby and is suitable for all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.
