Molokai Public Library will have a series of Events and Open House Activities during the week of April 23-29, 2023 to celebrate National Library Week.
- Monday, April 24 – 10am, Read and Discuss the State of America’s Libraries Report released today with our Branch Manager and Community Members.
- Tuesday, April 25 – 10am, Molokai Friends will recognize a staff member to celebrate National Library Workers Day. Refreshments will be served.
- Wednesday, April 26 – 2pm, the Molokai Bookmobile will be available in front of the library for tours and walk-throughs to celebrate library outreach and the dedicated library professional who are meeting their patrons where they are.
- Thursday, April 27 – 1:30pm, Join the Current Events Discussion Group on Take Action for Libraries Day, to rally advocates to support libraries. Hear about pending legislation and trends affecting library services here and around the U.S.
- Thursday, April 27 – 2:30pm, Fashion a Fun Craft using old, worn out books, printed paper and other recyclables to express your vision of libraries today and in the future!! Prizes will be awarded.
