Book Talk: Food and Power in Hawaii

The Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped is hosting a free book talk.  University of Hawaii Associate Professors Dr. Aya Hirata Kimura and Dr. Krisnawati Suryanata will discuss their book “Food and Power in Hawaii: Visions of Food Democracy,” which proposes a new look at food policy in terms of social justice and sustainability.  Seating is limited.  Please call 733-8444 to reserve a seat.
