Bryan Stevenson was a young lawyer when he founded the Equal Justice Initiative, a legal practice dedicated to defending those most desperate and in need. Just Mercy is an unforgettable account of a gifted young lawyer’s coming of age and a moving narrative of the lives he has defended and changed through compassion and true justice.
The Book Smart Book Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Language, Literature and History Section of the Hawaii State Library.
