Want to pick up crochet during the summer? Join the Manoa Public Library’s YA Librarian for a beginner’s workshop on the craft. Learn basic information on crochet, how to start a project, stitches and finish the last loop.
This workshop has an availability of 12 slots and is open to all ages, however, priority will be given to teens (12 years old to 17 years old). Any participant outside the age range will be put on a waitlist and will be contacted for available slots. Children must be accompanied by parent/caregiver but will be counted for one slot. Supplies will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own yarn and crochet needle.
Supplies purchased thanks to the Friends of the Library of Hawai’i and the Friends of the Mānoa Library.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
