Please join us the the lobby of the Hawaii State Library for a program about feng shui. This program will feature Clear Englebert, a noted feng shui specialist and author of several books on feng shui.
According to feng shui, the bedroom is the most important room and the bed is the most important object in the home. Englebert says, “The most frequent question I’m asked is where to put the bed. The short answer is to put it so you can easily see the door from the bed. But there are many other factors that influence the placement, such as the location of windows and bathrooms.” In his talk, Englebert will address the various details, such as color, texture, lighting and artwork, that help a bedroom support sound sleep.
Program schedule is subject to change. Please notify the library 10 days in advance if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed.
