This FREE seminar will demystify the patent application process!

Attorneys Seth Reiss and Tracey Ohta will provide an introduction into the basics of plant patents.  They will explain what can be protected through a plant patent, discuss how plant patents differ from other types of intellectual property for plants, and  offer helpful tips and guidance on applying for patent protections through the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The seminar will be held in the library’s first floor Reading Room.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date.  We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations.  All programs are subject to change.  For a list of upcoming library events, visit test-library.ehawaii.gov/events.
