After five long years, AstroBash is back – bigger and better than ever! Join us at this family-friendly, out-of-this-world event as we celebrate the end of our Summer Reading Challenge and the beginning of a new school year! Explore and learn about our solar system, galaxies, and the universe at space stations hosted by our NASA@My Library and community partners, including the Maunakea Observatories, NASA Solar System Ambassador Nancy Tashima, Girl Scouts of Hawai’i, Waimea Arts Council, and more. Be sure to stop by our space-themed face painting station and visit a surprise guest at the balloon station.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
