Join Tonya Hammond-Tullis of the Alzheimer’s Association, Hawaii, and Savy Makalena of Gimme A Break Caregiving, both 501(c)(3)-qualified nonprofit organizations, will present on Alhzeimer’s Disease and helpful resources. They will also screen Keys Bags Names Words, a documentary video cooperatively produced by Global Brain Health Institute, UCSF Memory and Aging Center, and Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience, which illustrates the personal and global impacts of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
