80th Anniversary

Celebrate 80 years with the Honokaa Public Library! Join us on Thursday, June 15, from 4 – 6 pm for an evening of library recollections and music by John Keawe. Refreshments will be provided.

Can your keiki find all the 1937 themed items in the library scavenger hunt? You may be surprised at how many familiar things started in 1937! Prizes will be awarded while supplies last.

A display of the library’s history will be available thanks to the Heritage Center.

Thank you to the Friends of the Libraries of Hawaii, the Friends of the Honokaa Library, the County of Hawaii, and the Heritage Center at NHERC for your generous support.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in  advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
