In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone book and in recognition of the story’s nomination as one of America’s 100 best loved books for The Great American Read, the Kaimuki Public Library will be hosting a free screening of the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Light refreshments will be provided.  This movie is sponsored by the Friends of Kaimuki Public Library and is rated PG for some scary moments and mild language.  More Harry Potter themed events will be held throughout the day in the library following the completion of the movie.
