Join us for a fun day of events as Kapolei Public Library celebrates its 15th anniversary.  For more information on the Jeff Peterson, Hula, and Storytime events listed below, see the individual postings on our website.

• 9:45 a.m.:  Blessing by Kahu Kelekona Bishaw.
• 10:00 a.m.:  Commemorative speeches by local dignitaries.
• 11:00 a.m.:  Slack-key guitar performance by Grammy award-winning guitarist Jeff Peterson.
• Noon:  Refreshments (cake) and fruit punch provided by our Friends of the Library Kapolei.
• 1:00 p.m.:  Hula performance by Halau o Kaululauaʻe.
• 3:00 p.m.:  Short keiki storytime featuring the works of Eric Carle followed by a craft activity based on one of his most famous characters.

These events are sponsored by the Friends of the Library Kapolei and are suitable for all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.
