‘O Pepeluali ka mahina ʻōlelo Hawai`i. E hele mai a nānā i kekahi ki’ionioni. E koho ana mākou i mau ki’ionioni i ia ‘auinalā.
February is Hawaiian language month. Come join us and watch a movie. We will pick one or two of three movie choices to view that afternoon. One animated movie, and two documentaries have been selected. If a movie is chosen that is primarily in Hawaiian, no subtitles will be shown in order to honor Hawaiian language month.
Light refreshments are provided, while supplies last. You are able to bring in your own food and drink.
Note: children 10 years old and younger must be with a parent or adult caregiver. Program is suitable for those who understand some Hawaiian language, from Gr. 4 and up.
Program and movie titles are subject to change or cancellation. If you need an auxiliary aid/ service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change. For a list of upcoming library events, visit test-library.ehawaii.gov/events.
