Welcome to the Wahiawa Public Library! Designed by Arthur Kohara and built by Wahiawa Builders, our current library building opened on July 15, 1965. Wahiawa Public Library is the oldest library on Oahu; in 2015 it celebrated 75 years of service. As an important community information node, literacy, lifelong learning, and a love of reading remain vital to our library’s mission.
