Welcome to the Ewa Beach Public & School Library! Designed by Robert M. Matsushita and Associates, Inc., our library opened on Aug. 28, 1971 on the James Campbell High School campus. Laptop computers were installed in 2012 to create the first computer lab in the Library System. Our atrium features “Pupu Aʻo Ewa,” a distinctive copper and bronze sculpture by the late Bumpei Akaji.

Interested in a tattoo but aren’t sure how it will turn out? Create your own small temporary tattoo.. Materials will be provided. One tattoo per person. If you can, please email your 2 x 2 inch designs to ewabeachlibrary@gmail.com prior to the program. Otherwise you may have to pick up your tattoo at a later date.

The Ewa Beach Public & School Library is joining forces with K9 TheraPets to bring you “Read to Therapy Dogs.” This program is designed to give a child a chance to enjoy reading aloud with no pressure and no judgment.

LEGO lovers can join us for an hour of free play with LEGO bricks. No sign up is required, and the library will provide the LEGO pieces. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult.
