Join us as we celebrate Teen Tech Week with a variety of fun and informative learning activities. We’ll have a “Breaker Space” area set up where teens can “tinker with tech” and take apart old appliances and electronics. Learn what’s inside—see how technology works. Make your own cell phone holder out of recycled materials at our craft station and then learn about the library’s databases and e-media platforms to help you breeze through your next homework assignment. If you have a library card and your own device you can learn how to download the app. If you don’t have a library card—have your parents fill out an application and get one! This program for teens ages 12-18. Drop in between 1 and 4 pm but call to reserve a spot so we know how much material (and snacks!) to have on hand.
Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library at least 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
