Join the Honolulu Brass Quintet for an evening of music blending classical elegance with the toe-tapping rhythms of jazz, the breezy charm of Hawaiian tunes, and the infectious energy of New Orleans brass bands.
Since its inception in 1976, the Honolulu Brass Quintet has been in demand throughout Honolulu and the state of Hawai‘i for all kinds of special occasions ranging from church services to private parties, from graduations to in-school performances. As one of three ensembles that make up Chamber Music Hawai‘i, the quintet continues to play full length brass quintet performances in Honolulu, in Palikū Theatre on the Windward side, and at University of Hawai‘i West Oahu on the Leeward side. All of its members are full-time professional musicians who perform regularly as members of the Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra, providing the highest level of musical artistry to the state of Hawai‘i.
