“Ocean-ology” (Marine Biology)

April is “Ology” Month at Mt. View Library!

Marine Biology includes all organisms from bacteria to blue whales, sea grasses to sharks!  UH Hilo Marine Science seniors will share with you the results of their year-long research projects.

Take a mini lesson on one or all!

  • Changes in fish abundance
  • Coral photosynthesis
  • Sea grass genetics
  • Turtle behavior
  • Sea urchin spine growth
  • Zooplankton diversity
  • Phosphate flux

Learn:

  • What marine biologists do
  • What tools they use
  • What data they collect

Meet the species “Marine Biologist”.

Come anytime between 3pm and 4pm and stay as long as you like!
