Lucy Forth, a long time quilter, discovered the joy and beauty of Hawaiian quilting in 2000.  Since then she has studied the history and technique of Hawaiian quilting and will share and demonstrate this unique style of quilting.

Wai’anae Public Library has a large collection of Hawaiian quilt patterns donated to the library in 1980.  Lucy will demonstrate how to use these quilt patterns which are available for patrons to use.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the hosting library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
