Students ages 5 through adult are invited to learn how to make simple glue books, journals or diaries with recyclable materials such as wrapping paper, old calendars, and more. Free one-hour workshops during the DOE Fall Break will be held at Kalihi-Palama Public Library on Monday, October 9, and on Wednesday through Friday, October 11-13, from 1-2 in the afternoon. Registration is required by calling 832-3466 or stopping by the Information Desk. Limited to 12 students; no keiki under the age of 4 will be admitted to the program due to materials and supplies that pose choking hazards.
