We invite you to join us for the Community Seed Library’s 2nd anniversary celebration! The first hour of this free event will feature guest speakers Nancy Redfeather, Jill Wagner, and Diana Duff who will present seed saving information. Learn why and how to save seeds from your favorite plants and the best way to test seeds before planting. The second hour will be a seed exchange on the library’s lanai. Bring your seeds or cuttings to exchange with other growers. Please no plants in soil or any with diseases or insects. It is helpful if you can package and label seeds and give basic growing information. Locally made celebratory treats will also be available! This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.). Photo courtesy of Nancy Redfeather.
Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
