Craftacular: Build a Cardboard City

June 20, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

crafts

Our Craftacular program continues this week with cardboard cities!

How do you make a cardboard city? Hang on to your hard hats and we’ll tell you how! Each keiki is given a small sheet of cardboard to use as the foundation of their city. We’ve saved up a variety of miniature boxes to be used as houses, skyscrapers, barns, or whatever your imagination conjures up. Glue your buildings to the cardboard, then draw and paint people, windows, grass, roads, trails, and signs. This week, you’re literally building a better world!

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Kaimuki Public Library. Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
