“In My Skin” is an original play about body image and body safety created by Roots School sixth, seventh & eighth graders for audiences from age 8 to adult. The performance highlights how young people’s experiences and choices can shape their future, and how people of all ages should not feel alone if they need help dealing with body image or body safety issues.
After the show, the cast will be available to answer questions and will hand out flyers that list school and community resources on these important topics.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver. Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
