The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the City & County Department of Emergency Management will hold a listening/sharing session in the meeting room at the Liliha Public Library in order to collect the personal recollections, stories, and photos that people may have from any tsunami experience here in Hawaii. These “talk story” opportunities will happen on a one-on-one basis, and the NOAA and City & County DEM team will provide a scanner and laptop to facilitate the information collection. More details about this event will be forthcoming later.
Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
