“Play it Again, Sam”
Made on a tight budget and released with small expectations, the greatness of “Casablanca” was largely the result of happy chance. One of the few films that loses nothing in repeated viewings is celebrating its 75th anniversary year. Join us in the First floor Reading Room for a viewing of the classic love story of the cynical American café owner Rick (Humphrey Bogart) whose old flame Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman) shows up one night with her husband, Victor, a Resistance fighter against the Nazis.
Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library at least ten (10 ) days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
