Medicare 101: Learn the A, B, C, and D’s of Medicare

February 4, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 pm

question-mark-with-person

For those used to employer based health care coverage, the prospect of shifting to Medicare for health care coverage can be a little daunting.  Signing up for Medicare at age 65 is easy but, like any insurance, you have to take the time to understand how it works so you can plan ahead and make the best choice for your situation.  Attend this free workshop presented by Ed Hickey, a volunteer with the AARP Hawaii Volunteer Speaker’s Bureau, to get a basic understanding of how the Medicare program works.

Program schedule is subject to change.  contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
