Simple & Unpretentious: American Folk & Fun Music

Musicians Keith and Carmen Haugen

Musicians Keith and Carmen Haugen will perform some American folk music. Sing along as they play a four-string ukulele and single string (pakini) bucket bass. This 45-minute program is suitable for all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

Program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i. This is a production of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with additional funding and support provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawaii.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library (10 days for Oahu; 15 days for neighbor islands) in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
