Here at Waianae Public Library that is exactly what we are hoping for, your stories. We are inviting you to join us at the library to participate in a story telling circle every Wednesday in June and July except not on July 3rd. We have invited a different guest host each week to get things started with one of their own story’s. Then we invite you to share a story with those community members who are in the circle. If you want to just listen you are welcome too!
Here is the line up for July 31 @ 6:00 PM FLO PELL
Flo Pell, a long time resident of Wai’anae is very involved in her community. She was a Speech Pathologist in the Leeward School District (Makaha to Pearl City) for many years. Now retired, she gives her time to many organizations in the Wai’anae Community including Hale Na’au Pono, and Wai’anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, and teaches aerobics three times a week!
Join Flo in her storytelling circle as she shares her experiences in the public schools here in the Leeward District.
