History of the Ching ‘Ohana of Punalu’u

Please join us as we learn more about the history of the Ching ‘Ohana of Punalu’u, one of the first Chinese immigrant families who came to O’ahu in the 1800s.

Uncle Gordan Ching will share information about the history of Ching ‘Ohana including childhood memories with a slideshow of archival photos in Punalu’u.

Michelle Ching Choy will share details about the Ching Ming Festival and the Yin Sit Sha Society.

Patrick Ching, current owner of Ching’s – Punalu’u Store will share more about their long legacy serving the Ko’olauloa community for decades.

Refreshments will be provided for this presentation.
