Sharleen Nakamoto-Levine, Ph.D., will share her research on the Ewa Poi Diet Study, which helped children living on Ewa Plantation thrive and become healthier. Dr. Nakamoto-Levine is an associate professor of American Studies and History at Honolulu Community College, located in Honolulu, Hawai’i.
