January is Volcano Awareness Month on the Island of Hawai’i!
USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory earthquake specialist Arthur Jolly will present about the different monitoring signals and techniques that earthquake specialists use worldwide to understand volcanic unrest and eruptions. You will also learn about past volcanic eruptions throughout the Pacific basin, including recent eruptions at Kīlauea and Mauna Loa.
