Join us for the Climate Connect Virtual Reality Student Showcase and experience virtual reality at the library!
Visit the amazing virtual worlds created by Kauaʻi students who participated in this year’s Climate Connect Virtual Reality program hosted by the Kauai Community Science Center. Students learned how to build their own virtual worlds from Kaua`i Dev co-founders Nani Holroyd and Keoni Takekawa. Now is your chance to see their creations, learn more about the VR program, and experience the technology for yourself!
Register today via the link below to explore the virtual worlds that Kauaʻi students created in ZOE (a VR Unity engine app). Attendees will have the opportunity to try one of our Oculus headsets and see what it’s like to interact with a virtual world. Email info@kauaicsc.org or call 808-645-6017 if you have any questions.
This program is recommended for ages 13 and up.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
