Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona duit! St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate than with traditional Irish music and dancing? Join us on Saturday, March 4th at 10:00am where Hawaii Irish Dance-Oahu Chapter will perform and showcase popular and lively Irish dances to celebrate the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day holiday on March 17th. A fiddle player will accompany the performers as they demonstrate hard and soft shoe Irish dancing which was popularized by the iconic show, Riverdance. Simple group dances will be taught to participants who wish to try out some steps for themselves!
This event will be held in Wahiawa Public Library’s meeting room. All ages are invited to attend and join in the fun. No registration is required for this event. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
