Bicycling Basics

Celebrate 45 Years at Waimanalo Library! Hawaii Bicycling League will conduct this workshop which covers everything a rider needs to know to bike on Hawaii’s roads safely. Learn your rules & rights, where to ride, and more! You’ll leave feeling comfortable & confident on your bike.

This program is suitable for ages 16 and older. Attendees are required to bring their own bicycle for drills. Those without bicycles may still attend classroom portion of the workshop (first 45 minutes).

Registration is required, details online at event website.

This workshop is funded through an Adult BikeEd grant through the City & County of Honolulu, Department of Transportation Services and are tailored to folks aged 16 and up. Those under 16 years of age can attend as long as they are accompanied by a participating adult.
