Plant Pono: Your 2023 Travel Guide Down the Road of Good Intentions

February 23, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Botanist Chuck Chimera

What is the difference between a native and non-native plant? When does a non-native plant become invasive? How can you tell the difference between them? Find out the answers to these questions, and many more you didn’t know you had, in a presentation about the Plant Pono program and the Hawaii-Pacific Weed Risk Assessment.

Our presenter Chuck Chimera is a botanist and a Weed Risk Assessment Specialist with the State of Hawaii.
