Schedule of events:
April 10th, 10:00 AM – Doodle and a Poem for Keiki
Don’t let the name fool you. This will be an action-packed morning! We’ll be drawing, coloring, crafting, singing, and listening to children’s stories and poetry all hour long! This part of the event will be geared at children grades preK to elementary.
April 10th, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Poetry Aloud
Poetry doesn’t have to be scary! Staff will be sharing a different poem every half hour for the community to enjoy.
All week long, April 10th-14th – Drop in Poet-Tree
Do you have trouble carving time out of your day to be creative? We’ve got you covered. Drop in to write a few poems either for yourself or to leave behind for others to read on our Poetry Poet-Tree. Note: This is not a writing workshop.
