Sashiko is a type of Japanese embroidery literally meaning “little stab” or “little pierce.” Created as a practical means to reinforce worn parts of clothing with mostly geometric patterns. Join us for this hands-on learning class. Note: this is not a beginning sewing class.
This 1.5-hour program is suitable for teens and up and is limited to the first 8 patrons. All materials will be provided. Program sponsored by Friends of the Libraries, Kona.
