Join us for some after-school movies in the children’s area in honor of Black History Month from 2:30-4:30pm every Friday this February:
February 7—The Karate Kid (2010): The 1980’s classic is given a kung-fu twist starring Jaden Smith & Jackie Chan!
February 14—The Princess and the Frog (2009): The Disney fairytale adaptation set in 20th century New Orleans.
February 21—A Wrinkle in Time (2018): A fantastical adventure based on Madeleine L’Engle’s award-winning novel.
February 28—Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse (2018): The story of young Miles Morales’ superhero origins.
All films are rated G or PG, but young children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. These films are presented through the generous support of the Maui Friends of the Library.
