Transitions is a 3-part discussion series hosted by Hawai’i Council for the Humanities, in partnership with the Wai’anae Public Library. The community is invited to a free viewing of the locally-produced, award-winning documentary, Out Of State. This viewing will be followed by an open and honest discussion about the transitions associated with incarceration and how those transitions affect the individual, their family and their community. This event is the first in a 3-part series looking to engage the community in discussion around the idea of transition and what that might look like in your community.
Light refreshments will be provided.
