Cost: Free

Bring: Please bring your own regulation chess boards, pieces, and clocks.

Format: A 7-round Swiss-System, non-elimination chess tournament (everyone plays all rounds). We recommend that advanced players join the United States Chess Federation (uschess.org) and plan to play in the free USCF rated section.

Sections: Open division. Learn how at chess.com or on YouTube. Current USCF membership is required to play in the advanced section, because they will be rated. Sign up in advance at www.uschess.org

Round Times: 5 minute/5second.

Time Control: Each player will have 5 minute for the whole game with 5 extra second given for each move.

Prizes: Medals

Parent Note: We recommend that you play for the fun of it. Beginners of all ages are highly encouraged to play. Players under age 16 must be accompanied by a guardian at all times!
