Protecting Maui’s Native Forest Birds

January 29, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Forest Birds

Maui’s native forest birds are found no where else in the world. Due to invasive species and habitat degradation, these species are in trouble. Learn more about these birds, their native habitat, and what needs to happen to prevent their demise. This free one-hour program will be presented by ornithologist Laura Berthold of the Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change. For a list of upcoming library events, visit test-library.ehawaii.gov/events
