Helen Jaccard, Manager of  the Golden Rule Project will present a history of the famous Golden Rule Sailboat which originally sailed in 1958 to protest nuclear testing in the atmosphere. The reborn sailboat is now on a journey from the Mainland, through Hawaii and then on to Japan to peacefully protest nuclear proliferation in conjunction with the organization, Veterans for Peace. There will be a viewing of a short video on the sailboat restoration as part of the presentation and time for questions.
