October 8, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Oahu map with Hauula area highlighted

UNFORTUNATELY, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

STAY TUNED FOR A FUTURE DATE.

Mahalo for your understanding.

Please join Kahuku Public and School Library as we invite two local community leaders Aunty Fran Palama and Aunty Dotty Kelly-Paddock to share more about the soon-to-be designed RESILIENCY HUB in Hau’ula. The idea to construct a building/center that will provide hurricane-strength shelter for up to 1,500 Ko’olauloa residents and will be located on high ground has been in the making for over a decade.

Come learn more about what’s cooking in Hau’ula and see what you can do to be more prepared in the event of an emergency.

Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library Kahuku.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change.
