Recycle Hawaii: What’s Up With Waste?

September 17, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Recycle Hawaii Logo

Why can I recycle this and not that?
What is a 6 bin system?
How is food waste different?
Doesn’t the county sort waste?

Join Dani Burger for a Q&A session. Dani is a Master Recycler Composter on a mission to reduce waste.

You have questions. Come ask them. We’ll give you the updates on recycling and waste for Hilo, as well as facts on waste, where it’s from, and environmental impact. Then we’ll answer your questions in this public forum.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change. For a list of upcoming library events, visit test-library.ehawaii.gov/events
